VALTHERYN
Build a lasting settlement, develop a battle-ready Guardian, command forces that truly cross the kingdom, and unite an alliance beneath one banner. Every weekend, the realm converges on Oathenreach—and the alliance still standing at the final moment claims the crown.
Every decision has somewhere to go.
Valtheryn is a persistent multiplayer kingdom built around settlement growth, visible movement, coordinated warfare, and progression that continues to matter long after the first battle.
Build a Lasting Stronghold
Develop 11 specialized buildings through level 30. Construction, troop training, research, and healing run on independent real-time queues.
Develop Your Champion
Choose one of six equal cosmetic identities, forge equipment across seven slots, and bring real Guardian attack, defense, and march-speed bonuses into battle.
Command Real Armies
Train six troop types across five tiers. Forces march outward, fight or occupy, and must complete the journey home before becoming available again.
Master 119 Doctrines
Build permanent advantages across Economy, Warfare, Defense, Troops, Temple, and Espionage. Completed bonuses feed the authoritative game calculations.
Harvest a Changing Map
Discover finite tiered deposits, defend their reserves, send civilian workers, and adapt when emptied nodes respawn elsewhere in the expanded kingdom.
Assemble a True Warhost
Start or join rallies with an easy force builder, contribute again during recruitment, and grow from an 850-troop base toward a 35,160-troop shared limit.
Understand Every Outcome
Current battle reports separate both sides and show troops sent, lost, and surviving by type, alongside combat power, Guardian contributions, and rewards.
See the Realm, Not Its Secrets
Explore a 16,000 × 10,000 world with richer settlements, readable labels, and visible Peace Seal domes. The private minimap reveals only your home and Oathenreach.
Claim the Sacred Temple
Scout, rally, reinforce, and hold the central temple every weekend. The alliance occupying Oathenreach at the closing instant becomes the Crown Holder.
Your Guardian’s strength is real.
Guardian identities remain visually clean and competitively equal. The portrait shows the original selected character—without equipment outlines or armor drawn over the artwork—while owned and equipped pieces remain organized in Current Loadout and Gear Sets.
Six identities.Every identity begins with the same 120 attack and 120 defense.
Seven equipment slots
Helmet, shoulders, armor, gloves, legs, boots, and weapon contribute server-validated statistics.
Five complete gear sets
Browse collapsible set groups from Ironbark through Astral instead of one endless equipment list.
Functional combat power
Equipped attack and defense apply while attacking, rallying, occupying, reinforcing, and defending at home.
Meaningful movement
Leg and boot speed bonuses apply to the force the Guardian accompanies through outbound and return travel.
Late-game equipment stays difficult
Crownward Tier IV requires Keep 18 and Workshop 14 and costs 450 gems per piece. Astral Tier V requires Keep 26 and Workshop 22 and costs 900 gems per piece. Lower tiers use ordinary settlement resources.
Nothing important simply teleports.
Military forces, rally warhosts, alliance caravans, and civilian workers are visible, authenticated travelers. Actions resolve at the correct destination, and availability or rewards wait for the correct arrival.
Prepare
Select troops, cargo, workers, and an available Guardian where permitted.
Travel Outbound
Soldiers, wagons, warhosts, or workers visibly cross the kingdom.
Resolve
Fight, deliver cargo, reinforce, occupy, or gather for 45 minutes.
Return Home
Survivors, caravans, and workers complete the route back before release.
Deposits have value because they can run dry.
The kingdom contains 160 food, wood, stone, and gold deposits. Occupied production and civilian expeditions draw from the same live reserve, making location, tier, and timing matter.
Bring the force you meant to send.
Starting a rally no longer commits a small fallback army. The preparation screen automatically selects your strongest legal maximum contribution, while the same controls are available to every alliance member who joins.
Build the warhost before the banners move.
Choose a percentage preset, fine-tune the total, or edit each troop type. During the three-minute recruitment window, commanders and members who already joined may add another legal contribution while space remains.
The Battle for Oathenreach
Every weekend, the central temple becomes the focus of an alliance-wide campaign. Physical occupation at the closing instant determines the victor.
Hold the temple.
Become the Crown Holder.
Scout opposing defenders, prepare combined rallies, reinforce the allied garrison, and keep surviving contributors stationed within Oathenreach until the timer expires.
Six troop types. Five strategic tiers.
The strongest forces require completed research and developed settlement buildings. Currency cannot bypass doctrine, Keep, Barracks, and Archive gates.
Verdant Wardens
Dependable shield-bearing frontline defenders available from the beginning.
Thornveil Archers
Early ranged specialists with strong offense and lighter defensive staying power.
Dawncrest Riders
Mobile formations unlocked through Mounted Command and settlement development.
Oathbound Sentinels
Heavily protected elite infantry earned through Tempered Steel.
Royal Vanguard
Advanced formations requiring high-level military and research progression.
Astral Champions
The realm’s most demanding military milestone, earned in the late game.
See what matters. Keep secrets worth finding.
The expanded kingdom is more readable without turning the minimap into a player locator. Combat reports make outcomes easier to understand, while scouting remains the proper path to military intelligence.
Your Home and Oathenreach
The non-clickable minimap shows only your settlement, the temple, and the harmless camera viewport. Other settlements and node landmarks stay hidden.
Richer Castles and Labels
Original level-aware castles use layered keeps, towers, walls, gates, banners, lighting, and terrain detail. Larger labels clarify settlement level, rank, and alliance.
Peace Has a Presence
An active Peace Seal surrounds its settlement with a luminous animated dome, making protection easy to recognize before an offensive command is attempted.
Both Sides, Clearly Separated
Every recorded troop type is organized beneath its side with sent, lost, and survived totals, plus power, Guardian contribution, plunder, and participant context.
Defeat Leaves a Mark
A successfully raided castle crumbles and smokes for five minutes before rebuilding visually. Real losses, wounds, plunder, and 30-minute automatic peace resolve separately.
Keep or Clear Your History
Review battles, scouts, rewards, recalls, and temple outcomes. Clear All removes both current notifications and retained legacy battle reports.
Progress that stays meaningful.
Valtheryn rewards regular play and long-term planning while preserving requirements that cannot be skipped by a single purchase.
Permanent bonuses, authoritative results
Completed doctrines are applied to real production, training, march speed, attack, defense, casualty recovery, scouting, trade, rally, and Oathenreach calculations.
- 119 doctrines: 44 foundational and 75 advanced.
- Advanced projects require earned Scholar Manuscripts.
- Twenty Temple projects build rally capacity to 35,160.
- Long projects preserve at least 30% natural study time.
- Oversized research speedups retain unused time as saved credit.
A complete military economy
Build a functioning settlement instead of leaning on a single upgrade. Protection, training, logistics, healing, and resource security all have distinct roles.
- Upgrade 11 specialized buildings through level 30.
- Heal eligible wounded troops in the Moonwell Infirmary.
- Protect ordinary resources with the Ironroot Storehouse.
- Expand alliance logistics through the Alliance Embassy.
- Craft an earned 12-hour Peace Seal at Workshop level 3.
Choose the objectives that fit your Warden.
Nine daily objective choices support peaceful, military, solo, alliance, building, research, and recovery play—but only five claims are required for the complete daily objective reward.
No Warden claims the crown alone.
Up to 50 Wardens can share one alliance banner, coordinate defenses, move lawful resources, assemble warhosts, and compete for Oathenreach.
Find your allies.
Raise your banner.
Join an established alliance or create your own. Leaders manage membership and can transfer leadership; rally command belongs to the Warden who starts that specific rally.
Your settlement begins here.
Raise your first buildings, meet your Guardian, earn ancient manuscripts, travel the expanded kingdom, stand beside your alliance, and prepare for the battle that decides who holds Oathenreach.
